Support Your Mental Health During COVID-19

Things that I did to reduce anxiety, fear and isolation and how you can do it too.

Anxiety, fear, isolation, and loss of control were boiling out of control last week. It took me a while to realize that those feelings were making me unhealthy. I have decided to take real actions to look after my mental health.

It is so easy to drown into those overwhelming emotions. I guess if you are reading this is because you’ve also realized that those feelings are consuming you and want to do something about them. And I congratulate you, the first step is always being aware fo the emotions.

Living in Spain and being hundreds of miles away from my family has made it harder, especially after they imposed the national lockdown.

I was fortunate that I had already started taking preventive actions to ease those emotions. These little things made a huge difference in my mental health during this time

This post is about the actions I’ve taken to ease those emotions, and I hope they are helpful for you too.
